Lahat ng kwento sa archive na ito ay may Tagalog na pagsasalaysay. Ang mga kwentong multo, ang mga kwento ng kababalaghan, at ang mga hango sa alamat ng Pilipinas — pare-parehong binibigkas sa wikang nakasanayan ng mga nakinig sa kanila noong bata pa.

There is a practical reason for that. Filipino horror carries its own vocabulary — tabi-tabi po, kababalaghan, the particular pause before someone says aswang out loud — and none of it survives translation intact. The stories are narrated in Tagalog; the folklore notes and story background on each page are written in English so the context stays available to readers who prefer it.
